About FileFree

FileFree is a small collection of practical file tools built around one idea: a routine conversion should not require you to hand a private document to an unknown server.

How it works

When you choose a file, compatible browser technology reads and transforms it on your device. File contents are not posted to FileFree. Some tools download an open-source conversion library when you start the task, but the file you selected is not sent with that request.

What we offer

The current collection focuses on common PDF and image jobs with predictable outputs. Tools are designed to work without an account, credits or artificial daily limits. Very large files can still be limited by your device memory and browser capabilities.

How the site is supported

FileFree may display clearly identified advertising to cover hosting, maintenance and continued development. Advertising does not change where conversion happens: your file contents remain in your browser. Any advertising-related data use is explained in our Privacy Policy.
